The Solution Architect at Safe-Guard serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, and clients. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, reviewing current systems, and designing scalable, robust solutions that can be implemented by technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solution designs that leverage existing resources while planning for future growth. Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution designs that address immediate needs while supporting long-term strategic goals Review current systems and processes to identify opportunities for reuse, integration, or enhancement Create detailed solution documentation including functional specifications, process flows, and system integration diagrams Develop scalable solutions that can be leveraged across multiple clients and business units Ensure solutions align with Safe-Guard's architectural standards and technology roadmap Stakeholder Management

Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and design workshops with diverse stakeholder groups Present solution designs to executive leadership and obtain buy-in for implementation Work directly with clients when necessary to understand their unique needs and constraints Strategic Planning

Identify opportunities to create reusable components and shared services across solutions Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies for potential applications within Safe-Guard Contribute to the development of architectural standards and best practices Provide guidance on technology selection and implementation approaches Support the development of business cases for new initiatives Implementation Support

Guide technical teams during solution implementation, ensuring adherence to design principles Review technical designs and provide feedback to ensure alignment with solution architecture Assist in troubleshooting complex issues during implementation Participate in solution testing and validation activities Support knowledge transfer to operational teams Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of experience in solution design, business analysis, or related roles Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions Experience working in financial services, insurance, or F&I products industry preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S Must be able to successfully pass a background check Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of business processes and how they translate to system requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences Experience with solution documentation tools and methodologies Knowledge of system integration approaches and best practices Understanding software development lifecycle methodologies Personal Attributes
