Head of School The Assistant Director works closely with the Head of School to ensure that the school provides a high-quality learning experience for children, exceptional education support service to parents, and a collaborative work environment for staff members. The ideal Assistant Director will love building community, working with parents, and leading community outreach initiatives. Responsibilities
Supporting the creation of a strong collaborative culture that embodies the mission of our education organization Demonstrating experience in education leadership on quarterly student event planning Planning and hosting community outreach events Driving the enrollment process (managing leads utilizing a CRM system) Managing general, day-to-day operations for the school: supply ordering, student reporting, classroom progress updates, support/ assist Teachers as proxy (when unavailable), and staff scheduling maintenance Interfacing with parents to build community, answer questions, and resolve any concerns that may arise Spearhead and plan workshops, parent education, and educator training events Qualifications
Classroom leadership experience An affinity for connecting with people Strong organizational skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on results A high degree of personal initiative Minimum 4 years of experience as Admissions, Administrative Leadership, Program or School Director for Montessori Early Childhood Education development (AMS/ AMI certification preferred) Minimum of 24+ ECE credits and 3+ Administration credit units (preferred) Familiarity with dual-languages and Montessori method of education Experience working with a CRM and billing software Knowledge of the local community that will inform marketing effort A joyful disposition and passion for working with young children aged 3-6 Ability to interact with parents and co-workers in a warm, empathetic, confident manner Willingness to learn: Growth Mindset Familiar with bilingual classroom and fostering diverse cultures among students Proficient with computer software and programs (Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, Google Drive, Google Docs/Calendar) Bachelor’s degree or higher Montessori early childhood education certification and credentials Approved fingerprinting/child background check, flu shot, COVID-19 testing as negative, Immunization Record, and TB health screening Ability to fluently speak and write in Chinese - Mandarin is a plus Current pediatric first aid, mandated child abuse/prevention, CPR training, and EMSA Health & Safety certifications Professional development opportunities (school compensation up to 50% of applicable fees) Career growth and promotion opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurances Paid time off and paid holidays Opportunity to contribute to a high-quality bilingual educational program that serves individual needs of each child Additional Information
