This position is vital to our retail operations. As a Customer Service Expert, you will collaborate closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide answers to their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. It is essential that you address customer concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction while staying current with product features and maintaining high visual standards.
Moreover, you will be responsible for achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals. This role involves direct contact with customers and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuable items, necessitating a review of criminal history to protect our customers, staff, and the general public.
Selected candidates will work at Stores within a 15-mile radius of #5432, located at: 180 Waterman Drive, South Portland, ME 04106.

Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately following established policies. Achieve sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain accurate work order files and formulas. Pull products from sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Stock shelves and create appealing product displays. Clean store equipment. Assist with deliveries as needed. Maintain presentable conditions in assigned areas. Stay knowledgeable about offered products and discuss available options. Comply with inventory control procedures. Suggest improvements to increase sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship. Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally. Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Internal candidates must have a recent performance appraisal rating of at least meets expectations. Internal candidates must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for their current position. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service. Experience selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Bilingual capability in another language is a plus; Spanish proficiency is especially beneficial.
