SharkNinja is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Sales Director to join our ever-evolving and fast growing organization. The Sales Director will report to the Vice President of Sales and play a pivotal role in driving best-in-class account management. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with Home Centers and Hardware merchants, as well as SharkNinja’s internal teams, including Strategic Sales and Analytics, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance to achieve sales, profit, distribution, and digital objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Account Management Develop and execute a comprehensive operational plan to drive revenue and net margin growth Act as the general manager of your business, leading cross-functional teams and owning both strategic direction and executional detail Manage customer profitability by partnering with internal teams to build financial plans for new programs and distribution Oversee promotional spending to ensure alignment with net sales and gross margin targets Analytical Decision-Making Understand and influence contribution margin drivers Lead customer meetings with a clear strategy and outcome focus Leverage internal resources to support customer initiatives and drive results Execution & Milestone Management Maintain a strong execution focus with clear timelines and accountability Ensure timely delivery of key initiatives and promotional activities Supply Chain & Forecasting Collaborate with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory flow Participate in monthly forecast cycles and long-range planning Work with Commercial and Analytics teams to monitor POS trends and business drivers Track and communicate competitive activity, including new product launches and promotions Lead a team of account managers, replenishment manager, and sales analyst Create development plans that align with team members’ career goals Qualifications: 10+ years of national account sales management or equivalent experience, ideally with home centers or hardware retailers Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Willingness to travel up to 30% (Needham, MA HQ, trade shows, customer meetings) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets Proven ability to work cross-functionally and thrive under pressure Embraces change as an opportunity Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities Demonstrated organizational and time management skills Experience managing both customer and internal stakeholder expectations Prior experience leading and developing a team Our Culture At SharkNinja, we don’t just raise the bar—we push past it every single day.
