Overview
Senior Sales Analyst
to join the Growth Office at GFT. This role is based in Denver, Phoenix, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, or Austin and supports business development operations by providing insights and analysis of sales performance, pipeline health, bookings, and wins. The candidate will translate data into actionable intelligence for strategic decision-making and work with cross-functional teams to develop corporate business intelligence reporting. GFT Strategic Services (Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services, Business Development and Marketing) support the company\'s global operations and are essential for transforming the business and improving efficiency. This role contributes to delivering infrastructure consulting and design services.
Responsibilities
Sales Reporting & Analytics: Develop, maintain, and distribute dashboards and performance reports on sales performance, pipeline, bookings, wins/losses, and forecasting accuracy; deliver executive-level insights and craft data-driven narratives for decision-making.
Pipeline Management: Monitor pipeline health across service lines, markets, regions, and client segments; identify gaps, bottlenecks, or risks to revenue targets.
Opportunity & Win Analysis: Track win/loss data, analyze patterns, and conduct competitive analysis as appropriate.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business development, capture, and proposal teams to ensure accurate opportunity data; optimize CRM tools and data integrity; coordinate with IT/CRM administrators and external consultants as needed.
Forecasting Support: Provide data-driven input to revenue forecasts and quarterly outlooks; support client and business planning processes.
Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to data capture, standardize metrics and reporting templates, and become fluent in the CRM system; assist with data transformation from acquired firms.
Qualifications What You Will Bring To Our Firm
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing analytics, data analysis or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or strategy for a firm with over $500M annual revenue.
Preferred
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Deltek, Microsoft).
Ability to translate complex data into concise, actionable insights; experience in business development or growth contexts, preferably in consulting, engineering, or transportation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
Experience in A/E/C industry or government/public sector contracts is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities; ability to work in a matrix environment and gain stakeholder buy-in.
Compensation The salary range for this role is
$95,000 - $115,000 , dependent on experience and geographic location.
