Production Manager role at BAND-IT IDEX. Summary of Job Responsibilities

The Production Manager is responsible for the daily operations of manufacturing and production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role is responsible for managing staff, coordinating with other departments, and implementing process improvements. The Production Manager is responsible for maintaining optimal resource utilization, minimizing downtime, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role will lead off shift production teams. Reporting to: Senior Production Manager. Duties and Responsibilities

Drive assigned production line(s) performance through IDEX Operating Model (e.g., Daily Management System, Monthly Business Review, and related tools). Manage key production metrics including safety, quality, productivity, and production employee engagement. Metrics may include on-time delivery, cost reductions, inventory accuracy, and machine efficiencies (OEE). Participate, support, and drive implementation of overall continuous improvement (CI) strategy for assigned lines. Promote a Kaizen mindset in the assigned area. Optimize production processes in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering to maximize productivity while adjusting inventory to meet fluctuating demand. Drive effective root cause countermeasures for top Pareto issues. Team Leadership and Management Lead and manage assigned production line staff performance, development, and accountability. Engage in daily management and address escalated gaps appropriately. Review production plan for gaps and risks and develop solutions. Drive employee and team engagement. Support Senior Production Manager in developing operational excellence vision and mid-term transformation plans supporting STRAT objectives. Serve as cross-functional representative for ECR, MRB, and Customer Care meetings. Collaborate with Quality to address RCCMs and CARs (Corrective Action Requests). Manage documentation of production processes (Standard Work/Work Instructions) and recurring production reports. Actively model IDEX values: Team, Trust, and Excellence. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job successfully. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Ability to organize several functions, delegate appropriately, and review team performance. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of continuous improvement principles; lean concepts/tools (Kanban, Single Piece Flow, 5S, Standard Work, Kaizen, Visual Management, SMED, TPM). Proven ability to analyze and interpret data accurately. Experience in creating and managing production plans. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization, including with customers and suppliers. Effective verbal and written communication. Knowledge of ISO and/or other Quality Management Systems is a plus. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, required. 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably stamping/assembly operations. 5+ years of experience in personnel management. Key Competencies

The compensation range for this position is $107,100.00 - $160,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for a performance-based bonus plan. Benefits Package
