Clearance type: Top Secret. This role requires on-site work with no remote/hybrid option. Duties And Responsibilities
Support program planning, sensor operational requirements, and system verification requirements Serve as Supplier Management Lead; support program milestone planning, reviews, and execution Facilitate new software implementations and updates for IETMs, ICDs, and specifications; coordinate with system test team activities Contribute to high-visibility activities and periodically demonstrate capabilities to high-value customers Coordinate anomalies with NG engineering and supplier Subject Matter Experts Review service bulletins and training for new software upgrades Review new NG and supplier Discrepancy Reports and track existing Discrepancy Reports as new analyses become available Qualifications
The position can be filled at either the Principal Electronics Engineer or Senior Principal Electronics Engineer level, depending on qualifications. Basic Qualifications For Principal Electronics Engineer
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in STEM and 3 years; OR a PhD in STEM and 1 year Demonstrated experience working with payload systems Experience with systems integration – hardware and software integration Supplier management experience Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to employment; additional SAP clearance may be required in role Basic Qualifications For Senior Principal Electronics Engineer
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in STEM and 6 years; OR a PhD in STEM and 4 years Demonstrated experience working with payload systems Experience with systems integration – hardware and software integration Supplier management experience Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to employment; additional SAP clearance may be required in role Preferred Qualifications For Both Levels
Current applicable Special Program Access Experience with electro-optical sensors Software Discrepancy Report tracking experience Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00; Salary Range 2: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00. The range represents a guideline; final offers consider the scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply depending on position. Long Term Incentives may be available for VP or Director levels.
