Annual Bonus Overview
The Global Head of Infrastructure will lead a global team responsible for
networking, compute, storage, cloud, and core platform services , partnering closely with trading, quantitative research, risk, and operations groups. You will define and execute the firm’s infrastructure strategy, balancing the demands of
low latency trading systems ,
massive data processing , and
scalable research environments . A critical responsibility will be to design and maintain a homogeneous infrastructure platform that: Supports multiple trading styles and diverse teams (from high-frequency execution to research-intensive systematic strategies). Enables
cross-asset trading strategies , including equities (cash and derivatives), fixed income (relative value, futures, credit), arbitrage, macro, and event-driven strategies. Operates seamlessly across different operating systems (Linux, Windows) and development ecosystems (Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, R). Ensures smooth ingestion and processing of both
traditional market data
and
alternative/unstructured data sources . Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the long-term infrastructure vision to support a large-scale, global systematic trading business. Homogeneous Platform Development: Architect a unified platform capable of flexibly supporting various trading styles, cross-asset strategies, and research needs. Cross-Technology Integration: Provide robust interoperability across OS, languages, and analytic frameworks. Cross-Asset Enablement: Ensure infrastructure supports multi-asset trading, from equities and derivatives to fixed income, credit, macro, arbitrage, and event-driven strategies. Data Infrastructure: Build scalable pipelines for ingestion and processing of structured financial data and alternative/unstructured datasets. High-Performance Computing: Deliver environments optimized for low-latency execution, distributed research workloads, and machine learning. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale world-class infrastructure engineering teams across regions. Vendor & Tech Strategy: Manage external partnerships and evaluate new infrastructure technologies for competitive advantage. Desired Background
Proven leadership in global infrastructure/engineering roles within
systematic/quant hedge funds or algo trading firms . Expertise in building homogeneous infrastructure platforms that support cross-asset, multi-strategy trading. Strong understanding of
multi-OS and multi-language environments . Track record supporting both

large-scale research/data platforms . Experience integrating
