CBIZ The Private Client Services practice is one of the largest in New England, servicing clients both locally and nationally. Our client base includes multi-generation family clients that utilize sophisticated tax planning to minimize income, gift and estate taxes, along with charitable planning. We develop strong, long-lasting relationships with clients as trusted advisors. Essential Functions And Primary Duties

Supervise all aspects of accounting, tax or audit engagements for clients, provide status updates to engagement managers, and adhere to quality control standards Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business and contribute to analysis and planning of engagements Adhere to engagement budgets, complete tasks within the requested time, and explain variances as needed Meet charge hour goals Review engagement team members’ work and provide constructive feedback Supervise and guide team members on engagements to foster a collaborative and productive environment Train and mentor engagement team members to support their technical and professional development Assist in client billing processes with Managers, Directors or Managing Directors Identify an area of specialization and develop skills and expertise in that area Leverage industry knowledge to blend cross-service opportunities into client engagements Participate in practice development activities and refer potential engagements Execute administrative duties as assigned Additional responsibilities as assigned Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing/tax standards to supervise staff and solve engagement problems Experience with accounting software; Caseware is preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field 1 year supervisory experience preferred CPA candidates preferred Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize assignments Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels Proficient use of applicable technology Ability to travel based on client and business needs The annual salary target for this job in this market is

$90,000 - $140,000 . Specific compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skillset. Outside base compensation there are opportunities for commissions and/or annual bonuses, variable by firm and performance. The compensation above is not representative of total compensation.
