Overview Relativity is seeking an experienced, visionary, and execution-oriented Director, Enterprise AI Transformation to drive the implementation, governance, and sustainable scaling of artificial intelligence across the business. Hybrid/Remote options are available, with ideal candidates based in the Chicago area. Travel may be required based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution: Lead the execution of Relativity’s AI transformation roadmap, ensuring prioritized AI use cases are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary orchestrator across IT, Legal, Security, HR, Finance, and business units—aligning efforts, resolving conflicts, and removing barriers to AI adoption and deployment.

Enable Experimentation: Build a structured framework for business teams to propose, prototype, and scale AI use cases responsibly.

Help Define and Implement Standards: Partner with Applied Scientists to bring industry best practices around model development, data usage, MLOps, ethical AI, and compliance.

AI Governance Stewardship: Work with IT, Legal, and Security to coordinate, implement, and continuously improve AI governance frameworks, standards, and controls to ensure responsible, secure, and compliant AI deployment.

Enterprise Architecture Awareness: Partner with data, technology, and business architecture teams to integrate AI into enterprise platforms and ensure future-ready system design.

AI & Data Literacy Advocacy: Drive enterprise AI and data literacy by supporting learning programs, hands-on enablement, and ongoing communication—demystifying AI and building broad-based organizational fluency.

Transformation & Change Management: Lead change management, business process redesign, and role evolution to unlock sustained value from AI.

Impact Measurement & Reporting: Establish KPIs and dashboards to track AI adoption, risk, and business outcomes. Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and escalate critical risks or dependencies as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of experimentation, feedback, and rapid learning—updating the transformation strategy based on outcomes, sentiment, and new opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years in technology, program management, transformation, or business leadership roles

AI & Data Literacy: Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts, data management, and the practical application of AI in the enterprise.

Enterprise Business & Systems Architecture Awareness: Broad understanding of business processes and technology architectures, with an ability to bridge business and technical domains.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and align diverse teams and stakeholders, often without formal authority.

Transformation Experience: Hands-on experience driving digital or AI-enabled transformation, including change management, business process optimization, and cultural change.

Governance & Policy Development: Experience designing and operationalizing governance and compliance frameworks for emerging technologies.

Communication & Executive Presence: Skilled in communicating complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences, and in delivering concise, actionable updates to senior leadership. Ability to influence and build trust at all levels, including with board, ELT, and business/technical teams, even without direct reporting authority.

Agility and Results Orientation: Comfort with ambiguity, proactive problem-solving, and a strong track record of delivering results.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field

Familiarity with cloud platforms, AI/ML frameworks, and data protection

Experience in regulated or SaaS/enterprise software environments a plus

Compensation & Benefits Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices. This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is $183,000 to $275,000. The final offered salary will be based on factors including depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth.

Location: West Virginia, United States or remote-based; travel as required.
