Hartford Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center with advanced facilities including a robotic surgery center and the Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI). Job Summary: Functioning within the framework for professional nursing practice, the Nurse Educator, in consultation with nursing leadership and the health care team, facilitates training, education and development by assessing, planning, developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating projects and programs for staff, faculty, patient populations and the community. This is done to ensure role competence, regulatory compliance, and to meet organizational goals in the Patient Services Department. Qualifications: MSN required Minimum of 5 years of active clinical nursing experience, at least 2 years in an acute care environment or area of specialty for ambulatory/ancillary environments NPD Specialty Certification BLS required Current CT RN license We take great care of careers.
