Overview
Senior HR Business Partner role at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. This position guides strategic and operational human resources activities in alignment with business objectives for a designated division and partners with HRBP leadership to translate divisional strategies into people-focused solutions. Responsibilities
Provide insight for designated leaders within a business unit to co-create, communicate, and implement a clear vision for strategic objectives and talent projects. Collaborate with HRBP leadership to diagnose business needs, deploy team capabilities, and consult with customer groups on operational strategies to improve business performance through people. Establish partnerships with business leaders to influence talent decisions with tailored advice and expert guidance. Drive data-informed decision-making by identifying trends, determining root causes, and developing effective solutions. Partner with HRBP and COE teams to represent business priorities in the design and execution of enterprise solutions. Manage employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers) in collaboration with HR operations. Coordinate with Employee Relations to investigate and resolve concerns, ensuring documentation and follow-up actions are completed. Coach leaders through performance management activities, including goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, and calibration sessions. Assist with compensation planning by preparing data, validating inputs, and supporting leaders during the annual cycle, with strong partnership in HR COEs. Monitor talent movement and maintain records of succession plans, development actions, and internal mobility. Support change management by drafting communications, tracking engagement, and reinforcing key messages with leaders and employees. Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, and support audits or reporting requirements as needed. Partner with business leaders and talent acquisition to develop hiring plans that support business objectives and priorities. Foster continuous improvement within HR and the business by supporting new approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency. Organizational design: support workforce planning and organizational design by collecting data, coordinating stakeholder input, and maintaining planning tools. Required Skills And Experiences
5+ years of progressive related professional experience; all relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Previous experience supporting business units and shared services. Proven ability to collaborate with mid-level leadership, presenting analyses and recommendations clearly and confidently. Experience partnering with business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR strategies aligned to the business with senior HRBP leadership. Knowledgeable in HR domains including strategy development, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards/compensation, performance management, succession planning, organization development, and HRIS. Ability to use data and analytics to generate insights and present findings. Business acumen with understanding of the organization’s vision and strategy and how decisions impact goals. Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships and networks. Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences. Collaborative work style and the ability to gain partnership and agreement, fostering openness and trust. Adaptability to changing and sometimes ambiguous situations. Solicits and applies customer feedback to improve processes and solutions. High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Skills And Experiences

Pay Range:
$77,200.00 - $127,400.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual brings to the position.
