We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with a strong focus on premises liability to join our team. Required: at least 3 years of experience practicing law in California, with a track record handling complex premises liability cases. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and the option for a lower billable requirement, plus step-up bonuses for exceeding billable targets. Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of premises liability matters from inception to resolution. Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations on behalf of clients. Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal team members to develop and execute litigation strategies. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case developments and legal strategies. Maintain accurate and timely billing records in accordance with firm guidelines. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on insurance defense and premises liability. Strong litigation skills, including experience with all phases of the litigation process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Trial Experience is a plus but not required. Equal Opportunity
