Mercer is seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Sales team. This role can be based in Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Irvine or San Diego. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office per week. Overview

We are seeking a Senior Employee Benefits (Health & Benefits) Sales Consultant to leverage Mercer’s expertise to develop innovative sales strategies addressing healthcare, financial security, and career development for employers and their employees. Responsibilities

Apply highly developed market and internal service offering insights to sales calls to engage potential clients, generate interest, and schedule meetings or presentations. Create sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that address complex prospect needs and communicate the business value of internal services and offerings. Lead complex sales processes from identification to closing; lead pricing negotiations, facilitate product and expectation discussions, and secure a beneficial financial outcome for the business. Qualifications

BA/BS degree. Strong track record of achieving sales goals. Experience selling to companies in the 100 – 5,000 employee benefit space. Experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products. Strong network and ability to gain access to C-suite level executives. Preferred
