Senior 401(k) Plan Consultant

to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients' retirement plans.

Overview As a

Senior 401(k) Plan Consultant , you will manage the day-to-day administration of 401(k) plans for a diverse client base, ensure regulatory compliance, provide exceptional client service, and contribute to the efficiency of our retirement plan administration services.

Responsibilities

Administer all aspects of 401(k) plans, including plan setup, maintenance, and termination.

Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.

Conduct annual nondiscrimination testing and prepare Form 5500 and other required filings.

Process contributions, distributions, loans, and plan corrections.

Prepare and review plan documents, amendments, and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs).

Provide expert guidance to clients on plan design, compliance, and best practices.

Conduct regular plan reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Respond to client inquiries and resolve complex plan-related issues.

Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless service.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes.

Mentor and train junior plan administrators and support staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in 401(k) plan administration or a similar role.

Comprehensive knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.

Experience with nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 preparation, and plan corrections.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and client service skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Proficiency in retirement plan administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Professional certifications such as QKA, QPA, or CPC are preferred.

Compensation

Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
