EY . We’re looking for a Data & Analytics Leader to deliver data-driven insights and solutions to oil & gas clients, guiding them through analytics, data governance, and modern data platforms. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunity to shape digital and data strategies across the sector. Your Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics. Define and execute the analytics and data governance strategy for oil & gas clients, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks (policies, stewardship models, roles, accountability). Oversee Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data cataloging to ensure data consistency, discoverability, and trust. Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) with Legal, Security, and Risk teams. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards. Design scalable, secure data architectures with enterprise architects and IT to support BI and analytics. Oversee cloud-based platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop) for ingestion, storage, and processing. Drive design and implementation of analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to generate actionable insights. Leverage advanced analytics and ML techniques to enhance operational efficiency and reduce cost. Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage cross-domain delivery. Develop data literacy programs and change management to embed a data-driven culture. Communicate findings through storytelling, dashboards, and visuals for business and technical audiences. Build trusted client relationships across operations, IT, engineering, and executive leadership. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and oil & gas domain trends. Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics) with prior consulting experience. At least 8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in oil & gas. Proven success deploying analytics solutions across upstream, midstream, and downstream domains. Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, stewardship, compliance, and policy creation. Experience with MDM, metadata, data lineage, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Cognite, Palantir, Dataiku, or similar. Experience with big data and cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop). Ability to lead digital transformation engagements, manage delivery risk, and foster client relationships. Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and business domains. Mentoring and building high-performing data teams; willingness to travel to client sites. U.S. driver’s license or equivalent and travel as needed. Preferred/Additional Skills

Experience deploying data products in ESG reporting, operational efficiency, or safety compliance. Familiarity with data mesh concepts and decentralized data ownership. Certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture. Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques. Strong emotional intelligence to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. What We Look For
