Description: Responsible for executing recruitment activities from sourcing to offer for entry to middle level management and individual contributor positions. Collaborates with HR Business Partners and hiring managers for assigned divisions to address Talent Acquisition needs. Provides consultative services including workforce planning, establishing service level agreements, regular reporting, and developing sourcing strategies as needed. Maintains and fosters excellent relations with hiring managers and provides a highly professional candidate experience. Work activities include attracting and identifying candidates to fill positions; managing the interview process; conducting interviews; guiding newly hired colleagues through the onboarding process, and coordinating relocation services. Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit diverse top talent. Sources (up to 25%), assesses and selects qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches, which includes networking and cultivating a talent pipeline in a creative and effective manner.
Responsibilities
Keeps and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Performs Talent Acquisition activities for assigned job families, including identifying candidates, managing the interviewing process, candidate screening, selection, job offer creation, drug screening, onboarding, and coordinating relocation services for both internal and external candidates.
Utilizes compensation tools and guidelines to determine offers, including equity analysis, relocation, sign-on bonuses, and other components as applicable.
Coordinates with sourcing strategies for career fairs, informational sessions, and events to communicate the employment value proposition and build candidate pools.
Consults with HR Service Center onboarding for background checks, new hire processing, internal transfers, and responding to inquiries while maintaining applicant data in the tracking system.
Maintains awareness of leading talent acquisition practices and develops proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment strategies to target a diverse candidate pool.
May perform advanced sourcing including social media and databasing; builds relationships with professional organizations, colleges, and community groups to identify diverse candidates.
Conducts cold and warm calls to passive candidates for critical, difficult, and visible positions.
Supports merger, divestiture and acquisition activity by planning and integrating talent acquisition programs and technology as needed.
May participate in system-wide projects or initiatives related to talent acquisition.
Maintains knowledge of current employee benefits and salary structures; provides candidate information related to culture and benefits.
Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and Trinity Health policies to ensure ethical and compliant behavior.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field with three years of talent acquisition experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Healthcare recruiting or third-party agency experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition processes and best practices to support organizational hiring needs.
Ability to partner with leadership as a credible, results-driven business partner; engage in proactive discussions on mission attainment, performance, finance, negotiations, and talent programs.
Commitment to fostering a diverse, collaborative, high-performance culture; ability to understand organizational relationships and structures.
Continuous learning mindset and ability to build credibility with customers, peers, and teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-service orientation with the ability to discuss detailed information with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.
Experience with Workday and Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, consultative, relationship-building, and conflict management skills to source candidates and develop partnerships with management and staff.
Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner.
Experience using electronic media, social networking, internet research, candidate mining, and professional organizations to build talent pipelines; recruitment CRM experience preferred.
