The Network Infra Data Science Engineer with data science and engineering expertise will be responsible for extracting, merging, analyzing, and generating visualization reports and insights from data sets generated by client’s infrastructure and lab testbeds. These data sets include information from networking equipment (cellular, Wi-Fi) as well as mobile devices (smartphones). Responsibilities
Be familiar with operating in a lab environment supporting network infrastructure and mobile device testing. Extract data from mobile device operating system debugger tools such as Android ADB and iOS debugging tools. Develop software scripts and queries to communicate through APIs and packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark/pcap, sFlow, NetFlow) to perform extraction and merging of data from multiple sources including: Lab equipment (e.g., switches, routers, wireless access points, cellular stations, telecom equipment, Linux devices) Database tables and internal data stores Contribute to the execution of test campaigns according to defined test plans, including data collection, pass/fail reporting, and monitoring the state of testbeds and benchmarking platforms. Troubleshoot issues, report root causes, and implement resolutions. Operate and manage the current QoE benchmarking platform that handles applications such as Instagram (IG), Facebook (FB), TikTok (TT), and YouTube (YT), including: Running and monitoring benchmarking campaigns continuously. Implementing and maintaining alerting systems to detect platform or campaign anomalies. Performing operational management and troubleshooting to ensure high platform availability and data quality. Perform analysis of extracted data from devices and testbeds, synthesizing and deriving relevant insights and actionable recommendations. Integrate and post-process collected data into visualization tools, including internal tools (databases, Hive tables), commercial platforms such as Tableau, and open-source or external tools like Grafana and InfluxDB. Develop and generate automated reporting workflows to deliver timely insights to relevant stakeholders. Provide thorough documentation for all services, including system block diagrams, data structures, methods of procedures, and operational guidelines. Must have strong knowledge of SQL and Python to develop data extraction, analysis, and automation scripts essential for test campaigns, data processing, and reporting. Seniority level
