Overview
Denver Civil Litigation Defense Firm seeking 0-5 year Litigation Associates. This Jobot Job is hosted by Kris Leishman. Salary range: $80,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr. This role is focused on civil and commercial litigation, construction litigation, and insurance defense. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases and provide legal services to diverse clients.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation, construction litigation, and insurance defense cases.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and briefs; conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Manage all aspects of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in alignment with their interests.
Collaborate with legal staff and clients to gather evidence, conduct depositions, and coordinate trials.
Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations and explain the complexities of the legal system.
Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the legal industry and ensure compliance in all areas of work.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Member in good standing with the state bar.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil, commercial, construction, and insurance defense litigation.
Proven track record of managing and resolving a diverse range of cases.
Exceptional negotiation skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to explain complex legal principles to clients and professionals.
Ability to work independently, manage large caseloads, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
