MK2 (RF) Avionics Hardware Engineer III - Lunar Permanence is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. Work with a hard working team of skilled engineering groups to develop advanced digital and mixed signal electrical circuits for high-performance spaceflight computer systems, directly impacting the future of human spaceflight. Contribute to the thoughtful design and integration phase the team is supporting for analysis and electrical hardware design, pioneering spacecraft systems. Work with engineering groups to develop advanced digital and mixed-signal electrical circuits for high-performance spaceflight computer systems. Contribute to the design, analysis, and integration of electrical hardware for space systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support safety, reliability, and quality in hardware development. Apply technical leadership and problem-solving to deliver robust avionics hardware for lunar missions. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Broad understanding and expertise in electronics hardware development (e.g., circuit cards, consumer electronics, wireless devices, or aerospace/space-related products). Experience designing and testing analog or mixed-signal circuits, including part selection, analysis, simulation, laboratory testing, and problem-solving. Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and general board layout principles. Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer (preferred) or Cadence OrCAD / Cadence Allegro tool suites. Familiarity with components such as ADCs, DACs, op-amps, power supplies, microcontrollers, processors, memory, and MOSFETs. Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of design, development, and test experience. Experience collaborating with RF engineering teams for PCB layout and schematic capture. Experience integrating RF hardware with analog/mixed-signal circuits for space applications across multiple frequency bands (L, X, Ku, Ka, and mmWave). Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS HFSS and/or FEKO for modeling and analysis. Experience leading cross-functional efforts for up-screening and qualification of automotive-grade parts for space environments. Familiarity with space hardware testing standards for communication systems. Eligibility to obtain a US government security clearance. Compensation

Compensation Range For CO applicants is $116,323.00-$162,851.85; WA applicants is $126,898.00-$177,656.85. Other site ranges may differ. Other notices
