Overview
Network Communications Engineer (JBAB) Apex Systems is immediately hiring for a Network Communications Engineer with a large government client supporting the Navy & Marine Corps at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC. This role requires a currently active DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance and is 100% on-site at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC. Job#: 2086717 Responsibilities
Evaluate communication hardware and software, troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Administer LAN/BAN/WANs. Schedule conversions and cutovers. Coordinate with all responsible users and sites. Support specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks and the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. Requirements
Active DoD-issued Secret security clearance CompTIA Security+ CE Certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment 8 years of relevant experience (education can be used in lieu of experience Masters and 2 years; Bachelors and 4 years; Associates and 6 years) Location: 100% on-site at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC Schedule: M-F, Core Business Hours (8-hour shifts) Pay: $46.75 - $49.75/hour (depends on experience) Contract: Long-term rolling EEO Notice
