Base pay range: $92,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr. The Finance & Business Planning (FBP) team is the strategic engine behind Meta’s bold investments. We manage the company’s entire budget and drive data-informed decisions that shape the future of Meta and our family of products. As data-driven innovators, we uncover trends, identify opportunities, and power the insights that guide Meta’s most important strategic choices. At the forefront of this mission is our Infrastructure Finance team. Our investments in infrastructure are foundational to enabling the next generation of Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Generative AI. We’re looking for a Finance Associate to join our Infrastructure Finance team. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for managing opex spend related to data centers. You will drive the rolling forecast, annual budgeting, long-term planning, monthly/quarterly close, and business reporting. You will build advanced financial models and deliver actionable insights. The Finance Associate is an advanced subject matter expert, who routinely interacts with business stakeholders and provides guidance/help with strategic decision making. Your work will directly influence how Meta scales its infrastructure to support explosive growth in AI and other critical technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and cutting-edge technology. In this role, you would use data to shape the future of technology and make a meaningful impact on Meta's technology roadmap at a global scale. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of operating expenses across multiple functions within a data center Monitor spending against budgets/forecasts, identify trends, and flag risks/opportunities Analyze cost drivers and recommend actions to improve efficiency without compromising business objectives Develop financial models to support scenario planning, resource allocation, and strategic decisions Ensure alignment of actuals, forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with Accounting and FP&A teams Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders by providing clear guidance on expense management Translate complex financial data into concise recommendations for operational and strategic improvements Identify opportunities to streamline Opex tracking and reporting processes Implement best practices for budget controls, approvals, and expense categorization Support the development of tools and dashboards for real-time expense visibility Develop and maintain advanced financial models to forecast infrastructure needs aligned with Meta’s product roadmap Craft thoughtful documents and memos to communicate findings and present strategic insights to finance leadership and key stakeholders Serve as a thought partner to business leaders — contributing your perspective and point of view on the right set of actions to drive the business forward Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field 4+ years of professional experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate finance Demonstrated foundation in spreadsheet-based financial modeling, translating open-ended business questions into structured, analytical models Experience in forecasting, planning, reporting, variance analysis and drawing insights from data Experience in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office tools Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree or PhD with 2+ years of professional work experience Understanding of technical data center infrastructure (e.g., servers, data centers, fiber networks, factory operations) or manufacturing industry concepts Experience in building relationships with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders Experience supporting infrastructure development and engineering teams and navigating complex product portfolios Experience managing Long Range Planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes Experience navigating ambiguity, tackling unstructured problems, and driving clarity Experience in finance, strategy, or operations within a high-growth or technology-focused environment About Meta

$92,000/year to $135,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
