Be among the first applicants for an experienced, motivated Roadway Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. A flexible/hybrid work environment is applicable, with the reporting office preferably in Owings Mills or Towson, Maryland. Candidates in Northern Virginia will also be considered. The team focuses on resilient, sustainable design and construction for highways, bridges, and traffic engineering to address modern multimodal roadway systems and ensure safe, efficient travel for all. Responsibilities

Development of horizontal and vertical geometry, preparation of plan and profile sheets, typical sections, roadway cross sections, maintenance of traffic plans, coordinating with other disciplines. Calculating quantities and developing construction cost estimates. Review of shop drawings. Participating in project meetings with clients. Coordination with team members to meet project quality standards and milestone deadlines. Representing GFT at industry and professional events. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred. 3+ years of roadway engineering experience. What You Will Bring To Our Firm

Knowledge of and experience using MicroStation and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, InRoads, GeoPak, and/or ProjectWise is highly desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organization and time management skills. Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Collaborative problem-solving approach and willingness to learn from peers. What We Prefer You Bring

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Benefits
