We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President (or Senior Associate) with a strong background in Restructuring, Leveraged Finance, Credit, or Debt Advisory to join the firm’s high-performing team in NYC. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in complex transactions for a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage restructuring / debt advisory engagements.
Conduct detailed financial modeling , including DCF, LBO , and capital structure analysis to evaluate various transaction scenarios.
Coordinate deal execution across multiple teams and external advisors, overseeing the full lifecycle of transactions from inception through to completion.
Provide strategic insights and develop client recommendations by conducting in-depth valuation, due diligence , and credit analysis .
Support senior bankers in originating and sourcing opportunities , including building relationships with potential clients, and preparing pitches.
Take ownership of marketing and transaction proposals , participating in and leading client meetings and presentations.
Ensure seamless coordination with internal teams and external parties to meet transaction timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
3-8 years of experience in Restructuring, Leveraged Finance, or Debt / Capital Advisory within investment banking.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, particularly with DCF, LBO , and other key restructuring / Debt methodologies.
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint , and financial analysis tools.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects and working under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial concepts.
Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials; MBA or CFA is a plus.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-caliber team.
