Information Technology Job Description
Our team has an immediate need for a Cloud Technical Lead to lead engineering, buildout and testing of a hybrid cloud environment utilizing the Navy Flank Speed Environment. Primary responsibilities include: Advise on best practices for the implementation of Cloud and on-prem components, tools, dashboards, and automation Lead team of SMEs to develop architecture and design drawings for end-to-end solution Interact with external partners and agencies to engineer interconnections between different enclaves Oversee buildout and testing of end-to-end environment Provide input into project schedule development Assist other SMEs in the preparation of design documentation, RMF, and testing procedures Qualifications
Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M Must have or be able to obtain within 2 weeks of hire, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. Preferred - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification Extensive experience leading or consulting on Azure cloud migrations, including hybrid, geographically dispersed environments Experience designing, installing, and/or operating systems using Azure Local Must have experience with Azure IL-5 and IL-6 compliant environments Experience in creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides Experience with systems interacting with NIPRNet and SIPRNet Progressive IT experience (9 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in this job description Experience working with Navy customers preferred Security Clearance
