Overview

Business Continuity Analyst role to advance Booz Allen’s Business Continuity (BC) program. Provide subject matter expertise to BC Stakeholders across the Business Continuity lifecycle with emphasis on Business Impact Analysis (BIA), plan development, Testing, Training, and Exercises (TT&E), and performance metrics. Develop, maintain, and exercise BC plans with BC Coordinators (BCCs), business process owners, and recovery teams. Respond to and manage recovery teams through disasters, crises, and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations. Ensure robust, action-oriented, exercisable BC plans exist with all corporate departments. Build strong partnerships with BC stakeholders and perform critical business process dependency mapping to ensure IT applications and other dependencies have recovery capabilities that meet business needs. U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within this facility.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and exercise BC plans in collaboration with BC Coordinators, business process owners, and recovery teams. Respond to and manage recovery teams during disasters, crises, and disruptive incidents. Ensure plans are robust, actionable, and exercisable across all corporate departments. Perform business process dependency mapping to verify recovery capabilities for critical dependencies, including IT applications. Leverage strong interpersonal skills to form trusted partnerships with BC stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing or supporting a corporate business continuity program in a private sector organization. Experience developing, testing, and maintaining BC plans. Experience developing, gathering, and reporting BC performance metrics. Experience with phases of the Business Continuity lifecycle, including incident and crisis management. Ability to facilitate tabletop and functional exercises. Ability to present effectively to employees at all levels, including senior leadership. HS diploma or GED. ABCP or CBCP Certification.

Additional Qualifications

Experience with Fusion Framework System or automated BC planning tools. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint). Knowledge of process improvement principles and methods. Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects. Strong presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication; strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities. Bachelor's degree.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). Details depend on location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
