Based Chicago-hybrid working. Competitive salary and bonus A leading, dynamic high-growth global financial services organisation is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to elevate and expand its brand presence. You will lead the marketing and communications including brand profile raising amongst its institutional client base as well as from an employer brand perspective. You'll need experience in financial markets / capital markets, with the ability to operate comfortably at a strategic and tactical level. You will help shape the voice, storytelling strategy, and creative vision for one of the worlds most advanced and innovative financial firmsblending editorial insight, brand strategy, and operational excellence. In this highly collaborative role, you will: What Youll Do Corporate Brand and Creative Development
Define and manage consistent brand messaging across digital and physical channels. Develop visuals and content that showcase the firms technical excellence and unique culture. Expand the brands digital footprint and audience engagement. Align storytelling and design across recruiting events, conferences, and industry engagements. Employer Brand
Create content tailored to both campus recruitment and experienced professionals. Translate complex technical achievements into accessible, compelling narratives. Collaborate with internal experts to craft people-centric stories. Manage a content calendar spanning blogs, video, social media, and more. Communications and Reputation Management
Partner with PR teams on media strategy, speaking opportunities, and corporate messaging. Act as a thoughtful steward of sensitive information and external positioning. Ensure internal culture is reflected in external communications. Operations and Digital Growth
Oversee digital channels, including the firms website and social media platforms. Monitor and optimize engagement metrics to refine strategy. Build foundational processes for a lean, high-impact marketing function. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for content production, event planning, and channel operations. Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution of marketing initiatives. Perform additional duties as needed. Skills Youll Need
Proven track record in marketing, communications, or brand storytelling, with at least 3 years in B2B financial services/Capital Markets. Ability to operate at a strategic and tactical level is key Proven experience in highly technical environments Proficiency in managing digital channels, content development, and performance analytics. Background in journalism, strategic communications, or brand marketing is a plus. Experience in employer branding Exceptional writing and editing skills (visual storytelling is a bonus).
