Staffing Coordinator Coordinates with Facility Administrator and Director of Nursing to ensure an adequate number of Nursing staff are always scheduled to meet the Residents needs as well as federal, state, and local regulations. Assists with time tracking and clerical support for the Nursing department. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Follow established staffing guidelines. Assure timely completion of monthly and daily staffing records. Secure coverage for vacancy shifts, open positions, vacations, and staff call-offs. Manage agency usage and track/verify hours. Create and maintain the clinical master schedule, using discretion and judgment to modify it based on the budgeted census. Identify areas for improvement in the scheduling process; develop and maintain scheduling procedures. Assist HR/payroll with missing time entries, time off requests, and approval of hours worked. Provide employee changes such as labor assignment, work classification, termination, and personal data updates to HR/Payroll. Record employee attendance and manage disciplinary actions per policy. Document and track Nursing staff call-offs. Report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues. Track changes for PBJ reporting. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and comfort, interacting with warmth and respect. Attend staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required. Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines. Perform other tasks as required. Seniority level
