Job Description Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full-time Property Management Specialist for a long-term government contract located in Washington, DC. This position is onsite 4 days per week with 1 day per week working remotely. Parking is currently provided but could change based on the needs of the civilian agency.

Reports to Program Manager and Lead Property Management Specialist

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Property Management Specialist is responsible for managing government property and inventory in accordance with agency and federal regulations. Duties include tracking assets, conducting inventories, processing work requests, and supporting field offices.

Will perform duties primarily associated with SCA Labor Category Material Coordinator from the SCA Directory of Occupations 5th edition. The Material Coordinator involves verifying material types, tracking inventory, and maintaining records using manual or computerized systems. Additionally, you may operate equipment to transport materials and monitor flow using control systems.

Duties (Include but are not limited to):

Process Work Requests

Monitor PMPROP inbox daily; log requests using a standardized checklist and centralized tracker. Process requests within 3 days via the PM Request Data Spreadsheet and ServiceNow. Perform asset tagging, reassignment, updates, removals, and furniture coordination. Ensure documentation is complete before scheduled moves. Maintain version-controlled request logs; respond to routine requests within 48 hours and urgent ones within 1 hour using a color-coded priority system. Retrieve equipment from exiting staff within 24 hours. Manage Excess Property & Disposal

Coordinate labor for excess property pickup within 2 days. Validate asset details pre-pickup; update custody records within 2 days. Follow GSA disposal guidelines; complete actions and documentation within 3 days. Archive disposal files for audit readiness; maintain visibility of pending actions. Support with dashboards and reports on aging inventory and deadlines. Inventory Management

Conduct directed physical inventories and annual reconciliations. Compare findings with system records (MS Access/ServiceNow); flag and report discrepancies. Maintain logs of recurring anomalies to identify systemic issues. Support process improvements and reporting enhancements. Field Office Property Support

Send monthly/quarterly emails to field offices with response forms to assess needs. Tag and track equipment shipments; maintain timestamped tracking sheets. Provide status updates and summary reports; anticipate recurring needs to streamline logistics. Requirements

Must have inventory experience. Must have at least three (3) years' experience in inventory and property management and relevant education and certifications as determined by the COR. Proficient with property management regulations set forth by the General Services Administration, Government Accountability Office, Office of Ethics, and Office of Management and Budget. Must possess three (3) or more years of experience conducting physical inventories and reconciliations. Must have excellent communication skills verbally and in writing. Must be physically able to walk for long periods of time, lift equipment weighing up to 50lbs, bend, and stoop. Proficient in use of computer, barcode scanner, and printer hardware. Proficient in use of Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel software. Ability to utilize Asset management software. (Training will be provided) Ability to use computer carts and dollies. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to pass a background investigation.
