Step into a rewarding role as a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator at Timken Aurora Bearing, where excellence is a tradition. We are inviting dedicated individuals to join our team in either day or afternoon shifts. Career Development and Training Available! Starting pay is set at $20.50/hr with a $1.50 extra for those on the second shift. Your Role Includes: Transform raw materials using CNC machines by executing operations such as facing, drilling, and grooving.
Expertly choose and modify arbors, fixtures, and inserts to align with specified designs.
Conduct initial piece assessments, adjustments, and obtain setup validation through documentation.
Operate and monitor machine cycles, enhancing quality through timely adjustments as per design specifications.
Manage routine equipment maintenance, especially fluid levels for optimal performance.
Enhance tool precision with surface grinding and sharpening as required.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferably a year of experience in CNC operations in a similar setting.
Familiarity with CNC equipment like Hardinge lathe, HAAS, Mazak, Ganesh, Doosan adds value.
Competence in blueprint reading, alongside micrometers and gages use.
Work hours are distributed as follows: 1st shift is 7:00am - 3:30pm, and 2nd shift is 3:30pm - 12:00am.
