exciting full-time opportunity for an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner

Dumfries Health Center

in

Dumfries, Virginia . This is your chance to

independently lead

orthopedic care for a unique patient population of over

28,000 active-duty military members

- all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. You'll be at the forefront of musculoskeletal care, partnering with

Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and skilled casting technicians

to deliver high-quality, mission-focused care. From pediatric cases to complex fractures, you'll manage a broad orthopedic caseload without the typical administrative hassles. Role Overview: Provide full-spectrum orthopedic care in a general practice setting Treat sports injuries, overuse syndromes, and acute musculoskeletal trauma

Handle fracture care, splinting, casting, and dislocations

Perform wound care, debridement, and foreign body removal

Support pediatric orthopedics, scoliosis evaluations, and more

Deliver urgent and follow-up care with autonomy and purpose

Position Highlights: Monday-Friday | 40 Hours a Week

Requirements: Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine)

Minimum

2 years of experience in orthopedics

Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing program

Active NP license in accordance with state board requirements

Current DEA registration and BLS certification

U.S. Citizenship

required (government contract)
