Overview
Position Summary: Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports, however may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects. Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Work with minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team members. Drive process improvements and innovation. Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development of project lifecycle. Design the conceptual and physical data model. Adopt best database design and coding standards, database coding, code unit testing and component integration testing. Create and maintain system, functional and reference documentation. Provide support during testing phases as required, analyze and recommend bug fixes for production incidents, and performance tuning. Report root cause of incidents and present ideas on how to prevent incidents from occurring in the future.
