From corporate accounting and financial reporting to audit, tax, and FP&A recruitment, they help organizations address complex finance and accounting talent challenges across the ecosystem.

The Opportunity As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth within the Houston market. You will focus on delivering contract-based Accounting & Finance talent solutions.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on full-cycle business development — from prospecting and lead generation to closing and account management.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities within the Houston Accounting & Finance market, focused on contract staffing solutions across corporate accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), audit, tax, and reporting roles

Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service

Run a full sales desk, including sourcing leads, managing pipelines, and negotiating contract terms

Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure timely and successful talent delivery

Contribute to regional growth goals by meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs

Provide market insights and feedback to inform strategy and client solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile

7+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance staffing or professional services recruitment, with a focus on contract talent solutions

Proven success in client acquisition, business development, and solution selling within recruitment

Strong knowledge of the Houston Accounting & Finance market and an existing client network is highly desirable

Experience within Big 4, consulting, or broader professional services is valuable, particularly with demonstrated client-facing or business development responsibilities

Self-starter with a hunter mentality and a drive to build business

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider national team
