Software Configuration Manager II Job Location:
Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins GA 31098 (100 miles south of Atlanta and 16 miles south of Macon) Security Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI clearance required. IndraSoft is seeking a Software Configuration Manager II with an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance. Responsibilities Provide software, hardware, and documentation configuration management and process control support for a broad range of weapon system software and related documentation. Provide configuration management planning and enforce change control to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits; regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Communicate and coordinate CM activities to maintain baselines and support program schedules. Use software package audit tools, manage weapon system baselines, and support organizational process teams. Establish and manage tool-specific software libraries as required. Perform and document required builds to ensure reproducible software configuration baselines. Execute release and change control functions using the designated CM system/tool to maintain software product integrity. Generate and maintain program software development, release and change records including as built and status accounting records. Perform CM Configuration Control Board activities including establishing the agenda, recording approvals/non-approvals, and publishing and maintaining action items. Develop proficiency in CM system/tool use and knowledge of project CM processes and standards. May perform computer systems task assignments within engineering including CM tasks, software builds and tools systems administration for CM and discrepancy reporting tools. Provide computer resource management, identification, evaluation and selection; PC systems administration tasks and related engineering development administration tasks. Tool administration tasks include script software requirements analysis, design, development, implementation and other engineering development tool administration tasks. Maintain knowledge by studying stateof-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations.

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology with 2 years of experience as a Software Configuration Manager, or an Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years Software Configuration Manager experience. Configuration Management: Strategies, Techniques and Tools; Certification. Security+ Certification. 2+ years experience with at least one of: Electronic Warfare, Radar, Sensors and Fusion, Communications, Navigation, Identification, Tactical Data Links and Networks, Information Assurance, Avionics OFPs, Support Equipment, Simulations, or Systems Integration. 2+ years experience with basic computer applications, databases, operating systems and hardware. Experience with CM tools such as ClearCase and tracking tools such as ClearQuest. Experience performing complex systems administration tasks. Ability to prepare reports and documents using computer skills. Ability to make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Experience analyzing, evaluating, developing and implementing processes and systems within budget and schedule. Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously. Excellent communication, business analytics and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills. Effective customer service and management skills; ability to work cross-functionally (internally and/or externally). Strong English language skills (written and verbal). Interest in new technologies and the ability to adapt to those technologies. High level of drive and ability to learn. Ability to lead a team and carry development workload. Candidate must have and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Qualifications Desired
Masters Degree in computer science or equivalent. 5+ years experience working on DoD programs is highly desired.
