The Medical Receptionist receives patients at the front desk, greeting and checking them in. Responsible for registration, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, collection of co-pays/deductibles, pre-certification or authorization of accounts. Responsible for setting up patient charts for new patients. Scan and copy pertinent information into electronic patients# charts (EMR system) Training would be provided. Performs various secretarial and clerical functions in support of the medical office.
