Are you an experienced automotive mechanic looking to transition from the shop floor to a professional office setting? Were hiring Mechanical Claims Analysts to join a growing customer contact team supporting a leading automotive financial services provider. This is your chance to apply your hands-on mechanical knowledge in a dynamic, customer-focused environmentwithout the grease and grime. Youll be the expert behind the scenes, helping customers and dealerships navigate mechanical claims with confidence and clarity.
What Youll Do
Evaluate and process mechanical claims using your deep understanding of vehicle systems (especially engines, transmissions, and electrical). Communicate with dealerships and vehicle owners to determine claim eligibility and explain decisions. Guide customers through the claims process with empathy and professionalism. Maintain accurate records using internal claims systems and Microsoft Office tools. Collaborate with team members to uphold the companys reputation for fairness and excellence.
Top Skills Were Looking For
Automotive Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience (shop or technical field). Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with labor guides (e.g., AllData) and scan tools is a plus. Certifications: ASE certification preferred but not required. Bilingual: Spanish/English fluency is a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule
Training: 2 weeks in-office, followed by 2 weeks of supported calls. Hybrid Schedule: After initial ramp-up, work from home 3 days/week (Mondays & Fridays always remote). MondayFriday: 8:00 AM5:00 PM or 9:00 AM6:00 PM Occasional Saturdays (8:00 AM3:00 PM) with flexible weekday float or overtime options
