Electrical Field Service Technician/Engineer
Location: East Chicago, Indiana
What's the Job?
Identify, develop, and implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems. Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical distribution systems and equipment. Plan, schedule, coordinate, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Conduct predictive maintenance activities such as IR Thermography and Transformer Oil Analysis. Work independently in the field and make technical decisions based on established procedures. What's Needed?
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in the maintenance of medium voltage electrical systems in an industrial environment. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve results with minimal supervision.
