Databricks is looking for an experienced Procurement contracts negotiator to join Databricks GTM and Partners Legal team. As Senior Contracts Negotiator for Procurement Legal, you will support the expansion of our global infrastructure and the needs of internal business units, working cross-functionally to optimize and scale our vendor contracting motion. You will report to the Senior Managing Counsel, GTM & Partners. Responsibilities

Negotiate a broad range of vendor agreements, including SaaS, marketing, facilities, contractors, events, and sponsorships to enable rapid scaling while applying thoughtful risk management. Collaborate with internal operational and legal teams to streamline procurement contracting workflows, reduce cycle time, support growth and long-term stability, and increase stakeholder satisfaction. Partner with internal stakeholders and other practice areas on projects for multiple business units, including product teams. Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, resolving complex vendor challenges into practical business solutions. Provide program management support to frame, track, and report on progress of key initiatives. What We Look For

5-7 years of relevant experience, including ideally at least 3 years in-house (preferably at a high-growth tech company). Experience with contract drafting and negotiation across vendor agreements (SaaS, software, hardware, professional services, data subscriptions, facilities, marketing). Familiarity with negotiating data protection/privacy and security principles. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter who can multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Strong collaboration with internal cross-functional stakeholders on ongoing projects. Critical thinker who can identify future needs/issues while executing current activities. Pleasant pragmatism in making practical, balanced legal recommendations in a fast-paced environment. Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair compensation practices. The pay range for this role is Zone 1 Pay Range: $109,500$153,300 USD. Actual compensation is based on factors including job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, and location.
