Position Overview GET (Growth Experience Technology) Team @Autodesk. At GET, we fuel sustainable growth by rethinking how customers discover, buy, and use Autodesk. We build smarter digital experiences, stronger platforms, and more efficient sales and marketing through data-informed decisions. Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers work on projects from ideation to implementation, developing and deploying models and algorithms to power personalized experiences and insights.
Location: This role can be remote within the U.S. or Canada; San Francisco is the preferred location.
Responsibilities
Act as a Champion for a data-driven culture, evangelizing best practices in data science areas such as segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction and insights
Expand ML capabilities by designing, prototyping, and building scalable end-to-end ML pipelines for eCommerce personalization at scale
Drive experimentation at scale by developing robust frameworks to increase velocity while maintaining scientific rigor
Craft compelling data-driven stories and make recommendations based on insights from data and ML models
Partner with cross-functional teams to initiate and drive large-scale, complex projects
Collaborate with senior leaders to prioritize projects and advocate for data-driven decisions
Mentor and guide junior data scientists/MLEs, including project planning, technical decisions, and review of code and documentation
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related technical field
10 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and scalable ML infrastructure
7 years of experience with design and architecture; testing/launching software products
10+ years of hands-on experience with data mining and information retrieval
Experience in A/B testing and experimental design
Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and financial modeling
Ability to translate data insights into business impact
Preferred Qualifications
MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline (data science, statistics, computer science, or related field)
15+ years of hands-on experience in ML design, development, and deployment, ideally in eCommerce
Hands-on experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS, Azure) and MLOps best practices

Salary Transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, starting base salary is typically between $166,600 and $269,500, with offers based on experience and location. The package may include bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
