The Sales Director- North Central will sell a comprehensive TDIR solution comprising Graylog Operations, Graylog Cloud, Graylog Security, and Graylog API Security to enterprise IT environments. You will cover all accounts in the North Central region and leverage the brand name of an open-source solution embedded in the IT community. The role reports to the AVP of North America Sales based in the US. Responsibilities
Manage the sales cycle from qualified lead to customer for all opportunities in the assigned territory. Identify key accounts, critical contacts, incumbent technology, and the partner with the strongest relationship. Establish and build a channel community as a prospecting mechanism. Identify objections (price, product, competition, political factors) upfront. Navigate a procurement cycle from start to finish. Utilize systems for contacts, forecasting, pipeline management, and quotes. Develop understanding of product capabilities and value proposition; implement territory and account management and development; identify accounts with high close potential and forecast timelines. Prepare standard quotations and proposal information; coordinate with other departments to finalize contracts. Serve in a consultative role dealing with technical issues; apply solutions-selling methodology and strategic concepts. A little bit about you
Thorough experience selling ROI-driven, networking/security solutions or Enterprise Software to C-level decision-makers. Experience with Log Management, SIEM, API Security or related security solutions is desirable. Ability to navigate large organizations to gain audience with C-level executives and earn their trust. Track record of closing six-figure deals. Proven pipeline development methodology and experience with 6–12 month sales cycles. Forecasting accuracy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience selling SaaS solutions to commercial customers in the region. Ability to communicate technical and business value of Graylog solutions to stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication; strategic selling skills; ability to analyze territory dynamics and implement a sales plan. Based in the region, ideally Chicago, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, or surrounding areas. Willingness to travel 25% or as business needs require. Why Graylog
