Senior Software Engineer (UiPath Modules and Platform) at Voya Financial. Remote work from home is allowed but travel to a Voya office may be required. Candidates must be located within a 50-mile radius of the assigned office location (AZ, MN, MA, GA, and CT). Job Summary

This role joins the Automation team to evolve business processes through automation and innovation within the Voya Financial Workplace Solutions Technology team. The engineer will design solutions that define business models, processes and workflows to achieve business outcomes. The role requires applying UiPath and/or similar platforms to evolving business and operating models, understanding multiple UiPath modules, and willingness to learn new automation technologies (AI/ML, ICR/OCR, Workflows, Gen-AI, Agentic-AI, etc.). Responsibilities

Develop Robotic Process Automations using UiPath. Collaborate with Delivery Manager, Solutions Architect, Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify and define requirements. Work with business and technical SMEs to define automations, business rules and exceptions. Contribute to and author Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Process Design Documents (PDD). Create reusable automation components and ensure design consistency across use cases. Develop automations and customizations using PowerShell/Linux scripting, C#, Python, .NET and third-party APIs. Develop automations and customizations using Client/Server architectures, SaaS platforms and REST APIs with payloads such as JSON and XML. Collaborate with Platform Engineering to develop CI/CD pipelines for UiPath automation including automated testing. Implement bot throughput logging, auditing and exception handling. Plan UiPath/automation stack upgrades to newer versions. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business and IT. Estimate development efforts and provide guidance on timelines, risks and constraints. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to requirements and coding standards. Work with UiPath products such as Communication Mining, IXP, Agentic AI, Maestro, etc. Knowledge & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of UiPath RPA development experience. 2+ years of experience in fast-paced or agile project delivery methodologies. UiPath RPA Advanced Developer Certification or UiPath AI Specialist Certification. Strong knowledge of the Robotic Enterprise Framework. Object-oriented programming with Microsoft .NET (VB and C#) or VBA or Java. Experience with CyberArk for credential management. Experience in scheduling bots via UiPath Studio and Orchestrator. End-to-end process automation using UiPath; experience staging and deploying automation into test and live environments. Experience automating Web portals, Excel, PDFs, TXT, Email/Outlook, VDI, Citrix and Mainframe Terminal apps; OCR/ICR form-based imaging is valuable. Experience with Intelligent Document Processing solutions like Document Understanding is a plus. Experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Screen, Data & Web scraping techniques. Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access) and web services (REST/SOAP). Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities; ability to work independently and in a team. Understanding of business process management, workflow and integration methods/tools. Experience with UiPath modules including Communication Mining and Agentic AI; Azure cloud environment experience or certification is a plus. Compensation

Voya provides a fair and equitable pay structure with a base salary range of $84,930 - $141,560 USD. Actual compensation offered will vary based on location, experience, education, licensure and skill level. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated. In addition to base salary, incentive opportunities may apply. Benefits
