SCO Family of Services
SCO Family of Services is currently seeking compassionate Residential Counselors to join our team in the Madonna Heights Morning Star programs. Our Morning Star II program provides mothers in recovery with the opportunity to live and bond with their children at the residence, while strengthening their parenting skills.
As a Residential Counselor, you will:
Understand and adhere to the program’s policies, routines, and regulations.
Enforce policies, procedures, rules, and regulations consistently, ensuring quality service delivery to residents.
Be alert to problems and crisis situations, providing resolution as needed.
Attend in-service training, conferences, and workshops as required by the Program Director.
Participate in monthly staff meetings and supervision sessions with the Senior Counselor.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for residents.
Conduct scheduled group meetings with residents as needed.
Transport clients to meetings, treatment sessions, etc.
Observe and document residents’ medication usage accurately.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates Must Possess:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Experience working with children or adolescents (preferred)
A strong belief in the ability of others to grow and change
