The Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time
tenure track Investigator
at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include developing a funded clinical or basic research program. Preferred candidates will have a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support. Additionally, involvement in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows is expected, along with participation in other academic activities. The appointment will be in the Department of Medicine, in a division aligned with the candidate's training and interests. Qualified candidates will hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree. Applicants with a clinical component should hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois, possess an MD or MD/PhD degree, and be board certified. Successful candidates will have independent grant funding at the start date. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
