This position is entirely onsite, with working hours from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug and background check. You will be central to HR operations, collaborating with the HR Manager to support our business unit. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting, maintain job descriptions, and promote inclusive hiring practices. Provide HR guidance, support conflict resolution, and develop employee engagement programs. Administer payroll, benefits, leave programs, and ensure legal and policy compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders on problem-solving and decision-making. Support employees with job-related conflicts and disputes. Create programs to enhance employee engagement, such as recognition events and health clinics. Manage employee recognition, conduct surveys, and maintain confidentiality of employee files. Assist in payroll, benefits, and HR systems support, including system troubleshooting. Coordinate leave of absence programs and monitor wage and hour compliance. Participate in benefits open enrollment and support HR communications.
Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems like UKG. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Authorized to work in the United States.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, and HR systems. Knowledge of HR systems like UKG and UltiPro. Familiarity with FMLA, benefits administration, and compliance. Preferred SHRM or PHR certification.
Work Environment
Work within a blue-collar wiring company environment, requiring PPE like hard hats and steel-toe boots. The role may transition to a permanent position after three months. Pay and Benefits
Hourly pay range: $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, and PTO. Location and Application Deadline
