Performance Engineering Architect
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills •8+ years in performance engineering/testing, 3+ in a lead/architect role. •Tools: JMeter/Gatling/k6, Dynatrace/New Relic/AppD, Open Telemetry/Jaeger. •Strong in profiling (e.g., JFR/Async-Profiler), SQL tuning, and microservices/Kubernetes. •Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), IaC (Terraform), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps). •Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation
Roles & Responsibilities •Define performance NFRs, budgets, SLO/SLIs per service/user flow. •Architect and own load, stress, spike, soak, concurrency test suites and test data. •Embed performance gates in CI/CD; enable shift-left with reusable harnesses. •Analyze results with APM/tracing; pinpoint hotspots (CPU, GC, I/O, DB, locks). •Recommend and track code/config/DB/infra optimizations with before/after metrics. •Lead capacity modeling & scaling plans; ensure release perf readiness. •Create playbooks/dashboards, coach teams on best practices.
Salary Range- $120,000-$135,000 a year
