Base pay range
$39.28/hr - $68.80/hr We are seeking an HR Business Analyst with strong skills in data analysis, HR systems, and process improvement to support people and organizational initiatives. This role involves analyzing workforce data, optimizing HR processes, mapping workflows, and providing insights that enable strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with HR technologies, building reporting tools, and collaborating closely with HR and operations leaders. Key Responsibilities Analyze people and operations data across HR systems such as Workday and SharePoint to identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate with HR and operational leads to document business processes, map workflows in Visio, and define process improvements. Create scalable Excel-based reporting tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional logic) to track KPIs and streamline performance reviews. Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to align analysis with business and talent goals. Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate workforce insights and recommendations effectively. Support HR system enhancements by gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with experience handling large people and operations datasets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, conditional logic) and data visualization/reporting tools. Hands-on experience with HR systems such as Workday and SharePoint. Experience with business process modeling and workflow tools (e.g., Visio). Strong communication and facilitation skills to convey insights clearly to HR and leadership teams. Ability to work cross-functionally and independently manage HR analyses and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting HR system implementations or enhancements. Knowledge of HR operations, performance management, and workforce planning processes. Proven ability to identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and recommend solutions. Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills within HR and people operations contexts.
