Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced
Business Analyst
to join their team and drive large-scale projects from initiation through delivery. This role requires expertise in analyzing current state processes, defining future state solutions, and serving as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This is a hybrid role based in Dutchess County, NY. Responsibilities Analyze and document current state (as-is) business processes and assist in designing future state (to-be) solutions Lead and manage detailed requirements gathering and documentation (functional and non-functional) Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams Facilitate design walkthroughs and review sessions with stakeholders and development teams Participate in defining test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support QA teams by reviewing test plans, validating requirements, and assisting with UAT execution
Qualifications and Skills
At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on large-scale projects Strong expertise in requirements management and business process modeling Proficient in functional and non-functional documentation Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) Familiarity with Jira or similar project tracking/testing tools
