General Manager
ensures Association business is executed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with governing documents, policies, regulations, and laws. The role involves overseeing all aspects of building operations, maintaining relationships with residents and the board, managing staff and vendors, handling budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and community standards. Compensation:
$90-100k Responsibilities include: Understanding and enforcing community governing documents. Learning and utilizing company systems and policies. Managing staff recruitment, training, and supervision. Promoting service standards and inspecting building and systems. Responding to resident requests and managing vendor contracts. Participating in board meetings, preparing agendas, and financial reports. Developing budgets, plans, and community programs. Ensuring safety, compliance, and effective communication. Managing legal, audit, and community needs. Performing operational tasks and special projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications: Strong math, communication, and customer service skills. Knowledge of HOA rules, facility maintenance, and financial management. Resilient, service-oriented, and capable of handling conflict. Bachelors Degree preferred; certifications like CCAM, CMCA, or PCAM are a plus. At least three years of relevant community management experience.
Physical Requirements and Environment: Ability to lift 25 lbs, sit, stand, and move around the property. Availability for extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Managing on-site personnel and vendors. Setting performance expectations and ensuring policy adherence.
Tools and Travel: Use of general office equipment and a valid drivers license. Reliable transportation for site visits and meetings.
