Responsibilities
Leads legal administrative and operations functions based on the legal service delivery goals Designs and delivers ongoing training to ensure all stakeholders are engaged with critical legal issues and are aware of best practices Designs processes to select, manage, and evaluate outside counsel, including requests for proposals Develops and champions the usage of technology to ensure and enhance the Legal Department efficiency Designs and implements a metric framework in order to monitor progress and measure success against strategic plans Oversees and manages the legal department annual budget and designs methodology processes for annual and quarterly forecasting and budgetary control Provides creative thinking to help identify and develop strategies for increasing value and reducing outside legal spend while maintaining excellent legal representation and optimizing engagement with legal vendors Designs and measures performance against budgets, and provides recommendations to assure adherence to budget A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications
Seven or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management. Experience in a legal environment to understand legal processes, terminology, and operations in reviewing and analyzing case-related documents and records. Preferred Qualifications

Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s Degree in business or related field preferred. Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department strongly preferred, including strong understanding of processes for serving and filing in various courts of law, regulatory filings with various agencies, service of litigation discovery, legal records management, legal matter management systems, and various other legal administrative functions.u00a0 Experience developing budgets, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor invoices also strongly preferred.u00a0 u00a0

hybrid.
The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
