Overview
Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking a Senior Software Developer/Programmer for a Springfield, VA-based role. The Software Developer/Programmer will develop and maintain software to support NGA business applications, interface with team members and government leads to collect requirements, and design, code, integrate, and test the software solution against the current code baseline. Responsibilities Develop applications using Java, Spring, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, MySQL, .NET, and Oracle Develop and expand the UI/Web front-end environment; design and develop user interfaces Develop software code to support data-driven web UI and retrieval of information from databases in support of intelligence issues Utilize Agile development methodologies Edit software and create software to modify or create capabilities and functionality within the business solution to accommodate evolving workflows Support the creation of engineering diagrams and documentation, including DoDAF (SV-1, SV-6, OV-1, etc.) Perform QA for pre-deployment activities Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 12+ years relevant experience OR 15+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Experience with JavaScript frameworks: Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS UI design experience HTML5 Experience testing and debugging applications Active TS/SCI with the ability to pass a CI Poly
Skills & Abilities
Strong working experience in all phases of the software development life cycle Effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts Ability to quickly learn new systems and related software Ability to manage multiple projects with time-related constraints in a fast-paced environment Ability to speak effectively before groups of internal or external stakeholders
